Périgord is a wonderful tourist site in France with its valleys
Vézère and Dordogne.
It is home to the heart of beautiful cities such as Sarlat,
medieval jewel whose beauty of its streets lined with old houses of ocher stone
delight of thousands of tourists every year.

When I return at me, I am also one of those tourists,
because I never get tired of discovering these beautiful villages and the countryside dotted
green hills.
made me realize my first digital snapshots
with devices that seem now well outdated technologically, but
who gave me a taste of photography.

Perigord has a temperate climate particularly
that appeals to many English and Dutch are found in this region
warmer weather and a good life appreciably.
We owe them for many years, the renovation of old houses and farms
in respect of our heritage.
We can only regret that some villages and renovated
are also living longer than before because there are many second homes
but many of them have settled permanently in
Perigord.

The Malraux Act allowed the renovation of towns such as Sarlat
and the sustained efforts of municipalities and Perigord
to promote tourism have made this department
a privileged place for holidays "green"

The relief of the Périgord characterized by plateaus hollowed by rivers, offering
pretty valleys bordered by high cliffs
the Perigord black has to offer men since prehistoric times.
The remains of the daily lives of our ancestors are so numerous, that

Since then, men have succeeded in this harmonious landscape and fertile
sowing the bend of the hills and tiny country roads, castles and villages charm,
whose ocher stone walls and slate roofs (flat stones) have survived the ages and remain today
perfectly preserved.

Capital of the Périgord, Périgueux proposed through 2000 years of history
From the ancient Gallo-Roman- Vesunna the heart of the medieval town Renaissance
it has 39 buildings listed or historic monuments
classified in one of the largest protected area in France.

In addition to these wonders of nature offered the Perigord black fertile soil in which
truffles, nuts , tobacco and mushrooms of all kinds flourish
and which men have set up geese and ducks, thus providing
foie gras, duck confit and world-renowned.
