Alice In Wonderland Monologe

Castles France - Series No. 01

Castles are a part of dream that slumber in everyone of us.
is the first in a series on castles in France.

Castles France
Chambord in all its excesses,
masterpiece of the French Renaissance,
gives us the splendor of a time away.
Its double helix staircase, where two people can raise and lower without ever meeting
led to the royal apartments of Francis I and Louis XIV.
One floor above us are entering the world of royal hunts.
On the terraces, we are in a strange world where roofs and chimneys
up a magical village, as if suspended in the air.
Hence, our gaze can penetrate off to the reserve Wildlife
that surrounds this majestic castle.

At the heart of Touraine,
the castle of Azay-le-Rideau
is built on an island in the Indre.
is a jewel in the French Renaissance,
built during the reign of Francis.
From majestic landscaped garden,
we discover the magic of carved stone facades reflected in the water.

Chenonceau is an exceptional site in France.
built, loved, protected and governed by women who have made history, women
footprint is everywhere.
Saved conflicts and wars, it is a symbol of peace and serenity.
Built on the Cher River, where the unique beauty of its architecture is reflected in water,
Château de Chenonceau is the jewel of the Loire Valley.
It was built in 1513 by Katherine Briçonnet,
then made even more attractive by Diane de Poitiers and Catherine de Medici,
finally saved from the rigors of the French Revolution by Mrs Dupin.
The site is enchanting, with its French garden and the park
surrounding adds to the impression of delicate grace that emerges.

Castles Oise
In the forest of Chantilly, on the town
Coye-la -Forest,
Castle White Queen stands on the banks of a pond Commelles.
The building was once a lumberjack lodge.
It was converted into a grist mill in 1765 then go hunting in 1825
in pure Gothic style.

The first reports that the castle was built on the ruins of a fortress
belonged to Blanche of Castile.

Impressive medieval castle owes its origin to the Gallo Roman ,
Vez was a military camp which was used to defend against invasions of Gaul barbarians.
This fortress where Joan of Arc stayed in 1430, this
beside a curious structural steel workshops Eiffel
a beautiful fireplace in the thirteenth century.
The set is a perfect specimen of military architecture of the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries.
A contemporary garden inspired by medieval iconography occupies the interior of the enclosure,
extended by a work by artist Sol Lewitt on the ground floor of the dungeon.

The origin of the castle goes back to Compiègne the Merovingian dynasty.
The royal residence has its final location in 1380 spurred Charles V,
eager to build a fortress there.
The castle has undergone several transformations over the centuries but in 1751,
the reign of Louis XV that are launched, both of Ange-Jacques Gabriel,
work that will give the castle its current form.
Completed five years before the Revolution,
it offers a magnificent testimony of the last rays of the Old Regime and the splendor of the Empire.
